Job Description

Seeking a motivated and experienced Fully Licensed Therapist to join my team as a 1099 Contractor.

Looking for someone with a passion for working with couples and individuals as well as someone who enjoys working collaboratively as a team. A clinician who has experience with any of the following (trauma, eating disorders, and stage of life adjustments) will be highly considered.

This would be a virtual telehealth position which allows for flexibility in your schedule and a great work life balance. This telehealth position allows you to maintain your independence and control over your administrative needs and schedule.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Fully licensed LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in good standing in Texas

  • Maintain a minimum of 15 clients/couples per week

  • Provide virtual individual or couples therapy to clients according to their needs and treatment plans

  • Maintain accurate and up to date client records, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with ethical and legal standards

  • Maintain, keep up to date, and provide proof of their own professional liability insurance

  • Completes accurate and timely billing services

  • Be in good standing and complete all CEU’s in a timely manner

  • Engage in team gatherings and contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture

  • Seek consultation and support from leadership when needed to ensure high quality client care

  • Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards related to therapy and client care

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Option to be approved as an in network provider for Optum (UH, UMR, Oscar, Oxford) is determined on clinician’s desire to pay the fee to utilize practice’s preferred insurance service 

  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit in becoming an established clinician in private practice

  • Understand and follow all policies and procedures of The Therapy Lounge as a clinician

Compensation

  • This position is classified as a 1099 contractor 

  • Compensation based on 65% of each billable hour you perform

  • Will be provided a HIPAA compliant EHR platform
